Amateur radio logging, reimagined

Your log. Your station.
Nobody else's cloud.

KE8YGW Logger is a local-first, plugin-based logging platform for amateur radio operators — from casual QSOs to POTA activations, club nets, and emergency communications — built on a tamper-evident, Rust-powered core.

Why it's different

Built local-first, from the log up

Most logging tools bolt sync and integrity on as an afterthought. KE8YGW Logger starts from an append-only, hash-chained event log — everything else, including sync and the UI, is built on top of it.

Local-first & offline-ready

Your station keeps working with no internet connection required. Nothing about core logging depends on a remote server.

POTA / SOTA ready

Purpose-built support for park and summit activations alongside everyday casual logging, in the same log.

Tamper-evident log

An append-only, hash-chained official event log with tombstone deletes — nothing silently disappears or gets rewritten.

Multi-operator sync

LAN-first IPv4/IPv6 sync between stations and operators today, with relay and self-hosted sync planned for remote setups.

Plugin architecture

An event bus and projection model let plugins extend the platform without ever touching the official log directly.

GUI & terminal client

A full dockable GUI when you want it, and a lightweight terminal client for headless or Raspberry Pi operation.

One log, every kind of operating

Built for the way you actually operate

Whether you're chasing a quick QSO from the shack or running net control during an activation, it's all the same trusted log underneath.
